Season ends for Sonoma Bocce’s2013 fall leagues

With more than 250 members filling 10 leagues, both the Sonoma Bocce Ball Association’s fall campaign and 2013 season recently came to an end at the bocce courts south of the gazebo in Depot Park.

The top finishers of the SBBA fall season include the Tuesday evening league winning Happy Hour team comprised of captain Art Weiss, co-captain Sandra Youdall, Catherine Harrison, Sandra Delmonte, Annelise Russell-Teven, Margaret Caulfield and Henry Grause.

In the Wednesday morning league the winner was Nonchemae, consisting of captain Connie Tiegel, co-captain Paul Crowley, Jim Hill, Ed Cebula, Marvin Doss and Karen Dee.

The Wednesday evening league winners were the Sopranos, comprised of captain Ray Larbre, co-captain Pat Pulvirenti, Judi Orr, Pat Sjolund, Micki Goedewaagen and Ken McTaggart.

Winning the Thursday morning league was Siamo Pazzi, comprised of captain Tony Ginocchio, co-captain Barry Walner, Ann Bryan, Ron Dutil, Marilyn Edwardes and Margo Ginsburg.

The Thursday evening league was won by the Grape Crushers, including captain Bob Noble, Ray Calabrese, Ruselle Johnson, Jim Lavaroni, Judy O’Brien and Beth Peetz.

In the Friday morning league, the winners were the Grape Stompers, consisting of captain Lloyd Cripps, co-captains Pam Vetrano and Jack Powers, Lenore Gordenker, John Shirley and Leo Sturn.

Winning the Friday evening league were the High Rollers, comprised of captain Jim Stroupe, co-captain Peter Charles, John Murphy, Mary Ciocca, Bonnie Walner and Barbara Stauder.

The Saturday morning league winner was Fun Won, including captain Rose Cardinale, Ron Hopkins, Olga Cleary, Nancy Dito, Judith Kaye and Richard Waxman.

In the Sunday morning league, the winners were the High Rollers, consisting of captain Nancy Dito, co-captain Gloria Pankow, Lynn Youdall, Maureen Vantress, Eileen Fox and Chuck Broward.

Winning the Sunday evening league was Bocce Torture, comprised of captain Sheila Fanucchi, co-captain Sharon Modrick, Lenore Gordenker, Francine Maffei, Andy Price, Tony Ginocchio, Harry Hanratty and Mario Bruno.
