‘Santaland Diaries’ staged

The Sonoma Valley Shakespeare Company will present David Sedaris’ holiday comedy “The Santaland Diaries” for two nights only, Monday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 22, at Murphy’s Irish Pub, 464 First St. E. Sonoma.

This wickedly funny story, about a struggling out-of-work actor in New York who decides to work as a Macy’s elf to make some much needed cash, is a modern Christmas classic. Charming, irreverent, heartfelt and hilarious.

Written by David Sedaris, it’s produced by Aidan O’Reilly, directed by Chad Bradford and performed by Jordy Neill.

Tickets are $30 – $15 for the show and $15 for a multiple-course meal.
