Let’s begin with a truism: Change is never easy.
Since roundabouts are a common site in all of the rest of the developed world, and in many areas of the eastern part of the United States, one might assume that traffic flow is augmented by their presence. Furthermore, it is likely that the traffic on Arnold Drive, as traffic seems to do, will increase over time.
I believe it is very refreshing to see traffic-planning becoming proactive rather than reactive.
Plus, if Hap Arnold is honored in some obvious and educational way, it would bring attention as to why the road is so named.
