Ragtime hits Sonoma

This weekend was the inaugural Wine Country Ragtime Festival and there were concerts spread out at five venues on Friday and Saturday.

Depot Park Museum, Sonoma Valley Regional Library, the Epicurean Connection, Bartholomew Park Winery and Buena Vista Winery all hosted concerts. There were also special concerts at Happy Walls in Jack London State Historic Park and First Congregational Church of Sonoma.

Performing Saturday afternoon at the Sonoma Valley Regional Library was a group called the Saloon Sweeties whose members included Kitty Wilson on washboard, Julie Riley on flute and Tom Brier on piano.
