Quarryhill sets ‘Harvest Moon Walk’

Quarryhill Botanical Garden will host a “Super Harvest Full Moon Walk in the Garden” from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8.

Executive director Bill McNamara will lead a tour around the garden on a night unlike most, highlighting many rare and endangered wild-origin plants, unique to Quarryhill.

The Harvest Moon is the full moon that falls the closest to the autumnal equinox and Sept. 8 is the Northern Hemisphere’s Harvest Moon.

Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

Tickets are $25. Call 996-3166 to sign up.

Quarryhill is located at 12841 Sonoma Highway, Glen Ellen. For more information, visit quarryhillbg.org.
