SONOMA LITTLE LEAGUE opens its 2014 season with a full slate of games beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow Saturday, March 15, at Hughes, Teeter and Paul’s fields. SONOMA VALLEY TENNIS Association, along with Kiwanis Club of Sonoma Plaza, Rotary Club of Sonoma and the Bodil Sorenson Junior Tennis Memorial Fund, are sponsoring a free junior tennis program for ages 6-to-15-years-old for beginners and returning players every Saturday in April and May at the Maxwell Farms Regional Park courts (weather permitting). SONOMA VALLEY HIGH School’s varsity and junior varsity girls’ softball teams are holding a “huge parking lot sale” fundraiser to benefit the Lady Dragons’ softball program from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, in the SVHS parking lot.
