Volunteers started preparations for the Sonoma Community Center’s annual Thanksgiving Day dinner on Wednesday morning. The crew was already preparing turkeys and chopping onions and other vegetables for the dressing. Here, Katherine Couture chops while Don Ryndak washes turkeys. Volunteers were going to prepare 28 turkeys for the big day – 14 baked and 14 smoked. Organizers were expecting to feed somewhere around 450 diners on Thanksgiving.
