Peter Amanze “Pete” Angeli, 35, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2013, in Santa Rosa after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Pete was a true “born and raised Sonoma” boy. He was a graduate of Sonoma Valley High, class of 1996. Pete always had a passion for construction, and his amazing work can be seen all over the town. He started his own business, Angeli’s Custom Construction, in 2004 and later joined forces with his good friend Jason Bertlow to form Angeli-Bertlow Construction, Inc., employing many close friends in their business. Pete could always be found outside working on something, whether it was his truck or building – something great – often with his daughter, Savannah, as his sidekick. Some of Pete’s greatest times were the many camping trips with friends and family.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Angeli; children Savannah and Max; parents Vernon and Rogena Angeli; brother Richard Thomasson; and nephews Anthony, Mikey and Jesse Thomasson. He is also survived by many other family members and a town of friends. He is predeceased by his brother, Tony, and sister Serena.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Valley Cemetery, 425 E. MacArthur St., Sonoma, CA. Pete’s cremated remains will be inurned alongside his older brother, Tony. There will be a celebration of Pete’s life at the already scheduled fundraiser for the Angeli family at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at the Sonoma Moose Lodge, 20580 Broadway, Sonoma, CA, for all family and friends. Memorial contributions in Pete’s honor may be made to a special fund for his children at forpetessakefundraiser.eventbright.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Duggan’s Mission Chapel, Mission Cremation Service. They can be contacted for more information at  996-3655, or by visiting their website at duggansmissionchapel.com.
