Paul Robert Emerick

Paul Robert Emerick, 80, beloved husband, father and grandfather, was born Aug. 15, 1933, in San Francisco, and died Dec. 31, 2013.

He passed peacefully in his home in Sonoma, with his wife of 55 years, Olga Margarita Gonzales Emerick, by his side.

Paul was known for his values of service, dedication and loyalty. He worked as a machinist in San Francisco and Petaluma for nearly 40 years.  He had a passion for flying airplanes, playing chess and watching “Ray” Harryhausen movies.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren: Theresa Emerick, her partner, Vicky Squires; Paul M. Emerick, his wife, Araceli (Santos) Emerick, their children, Evelyn and Vanessa; James Emerick, his wife, Cheryl (Moats) Emerick, their children, Victoria and Jack; and Catherine (Emerick) Harris, her husband, Major Harris, their children, Charles and Krysta; also by his younger brother, Ernest Emerick.
