Poll: Who gets your vote for President?

Sonoma’s with her. At least 53 percent of us are, anyway.

In our latest Index-Tribune online poll, we asked readers pretty much the only question that counts this week: Who gets your vote for President?

The results weren’t incredibly shocking. Slightly more than half of respondents said they were planning to tick off Hillary Clinton’s name Nov. 8; while 36 percent said they would be casting their ballots for Donald Trump.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson received nearly 5 percent of the responses – a healthy third-party showing in comparison to Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who earned just over 1 percent of Sonoma’s vote, about 3 percent less than “other.” Which shows that, in Sonoma, wherever the progressive Bernie Sanders supporters plan to shift their votes, it doesn’t appear to be toward the progressive Bernie-like Green Party.

Neither top two candidates are appealing; now it’s not about who is more right. One candidate has proven himself to be UNFIT and the laughingstock of the world. The GOP have nobody but themselves to blame for eight years of gridlock, now we’re paying for it.

If I get the choice, “none of the above.” Clinton and Trump are horrible. Hillary is more corrupt and dangerous to our freedom and liberty. We need real journalists truly reporting, instead of just reflecting their views, they are not. You are not.

As bad a candidate as Trump is, Hillary has proven herself to be an absolute disaster in public office.

Ross Perot. I find it interesting that when I clicked on the link and opened up this poll that Clinton was already chosen for me. I guess that the Index-Trib is part of the 96 percent of all journalists that have given to her campaign.

I am in support of God’s kingdom that will rule from heaven with Jesus Christ as the king. This government will solve all of mankind’s problems in the near future.

I’m a long-time registered Republican. I will vote for the best person to lead America. Trump is unqualified.

Hillary Clinton will be an outstanding President! I have much respect and admiration for her lifetime of service. She will succeed in bringing together the varied factions of our people and government. Congratulations to our future Madame President!
