Prestwood Elementary runs Jogathon

500 students and family members took to the track.|

Principal Jason Sutter says that Prestwood Elementary School’s Jogathon is his favorite day of the school year for the following three reasons:

First, five hundred folks from the Prestwood Elementary School community running around the track with music blaring. The kids are so happy. Running, skipping, having a great time. It is one of their favorite days too.

Second, it is one of Prestwood’s main fundraisers, supporting aides, the school’s new “maker” room, technology, art and more.

Third, kids get to do something for their school. They ask others for support for Prestwood and then go do something to earn it. They can see how their actions buy more classroom technology, playground equipment, or robotics. Kids can see how they can make a difference.
