The Arts Education Alliance has launched an assessment of the state of arts education in Sonoma County schools.

The AEA is a coalition of educators, arts organizations, and artists who believe that every student deserves access to arts education.

Administrators, teachers, parents, arts organizations with education programs, and education funders will be surveyed this winter. Students will be surveyed in a focus group format, versus the online survey. The survey is online at creativesonoma.org/artseducation/ and it closes March 6.

Following the analysis of the assessment data, the AEA will move into a planning phase to address gaps identified in the survey process.
