The Sonoma Valley Unified School District posts its seniority list among its certificated staff annually. Here are the top 10, as of the start of the 2016-2017 school year:

4. Bob Gossett, music, 1984

5. Victoria Monga, Sassarini, 1984

6. Paula Lely, Prestwood, 1985

7. Peggy McClure, Prestwood, 1985

8. Ethel Tedsen, Prestwood, 1985

9. Karla Conroy, district office, 1986

10. Gwen Watson, Prestwood, 1986

Rounding out the top spots are Mary Mellinger of Prestood, Julie Niehaus from SVHS, Alison Manchester of SVHS, Caryn Prince at Altimira, Rebecca King (music/life) and Leslie McClean at SVHS.
