Sonoma County Sheriff's deputies responded to McDonald's on Wednesday, May 16, for a person who was causing a disturbance. When the deputies arrived at little after 9 a.m., the suspect was in the restroom washing his hands. A deputy recognized the suspect from previous contacts and knew the man had an outstanding warrant for a PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision) violation.
When the deputy searched the man, he found a canister of pepper spray. The suspect also gave the deputy a false name. As a result, Frankie David Thompson, 24, of Larkfield, was arrested on charges of prohibited use of tear gas by a convicted person, giving false identification to a peace officer, and the felony PRCS warrant, and was transported to jail.

Wednesday, May 2:
2:50 p.m. – A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious person in the vicinity of Hickory and Walnut streets. The deputy recognized the person and knew the person was on probation. During a search, the deputy found a stabbing instrument in the suspect's pants pocket. Miguel Angel Carranza, 39, of the Springs, was arrested on charges of felony carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, under the influence of a controlled substance and a probation violation and was transported to jail.
Saturday, May 12:
10:54 a.m. – A customer in a tavern in the 400 block of First Street West reported that her cellphone had gone missing. She wasn't sure whether she left it on the table or it was in her purse. The $1,100 iPhone was still powered and was pinging to an area around Eddy Street and Van Ness Street in San Francisco.
Sunday, May 13:
8:58 a.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in the 13800 block of Yell Lane for a report of an individual who woke up and threatened to kill someone. Michael Dana Everidge, 60, of Glen Ellen, was arrested on charges of felony threaten with intent to terrorize, and transported to jail.
Monday, May 14:
10:11 a.m. – A Redwood Credit Union customer was reviewing his account online when he discovered two charges for $200 and $280 from the same ATM in Henderson, Nevada. The man was still in possession of his bank card and doesn't know anyone in Henderson.
1:13 p.m. – Deputies arrested a Springs man who kept showing up at his ex-girlfriend's house, and reportedly threatened the woman. Brian Perez-Perez, 26, of the Springs, on charges of felony making threats and a probation violation. He was transported to jail.
8:29 p.m. – A resident in the 1200 block of Adobe Canyon Road reported a burglary. The man said he was out walking his dog between about 9 and 10:20 a.m. that day and found the back door open when he returned. Credit and debit cards were missing from the man's wallet, but apparently nothing else of value was taken.
Wednesday, May 16:
11:09 a.m. – A resident in the 100 block of Arroyo Road reported that sometime overnight, someone had shattered the driver's side window and broke the handle off the driver's door on the woman's vehicle. The estimated damage was in excess of $1,000.
Saturday, May 19:
3:04 p.m. – While on a foot patrol along Sonoma Creek in the area of Arbor Avenue and Riverside Drive, a deputy discovered a transient camp. The resident of the camp said he was from Tahoe and came down to live with his brother, but that didn't work out. The deputy asked the man to pack up and leave, but the man declined. The man, who had been drinking, sat down and refused to go to the squad car. The deputy eventually got the man to the squad car and arrested the 56-year-old man on charges of resisting arrest and polluting a state waterway and transported him to jail.
Monday, May 21:
8:12 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in the 100 block of Vista Circle after a dad, who was bathing his child, asked another child to hand him something from a drawer and the child found some meth pipes. The pipes were the property of his wife who admitted putting them in the drawer because someone had given them to her. The woman also had some methamphetamine, but she was going to give everything back to her acquaintance. Maria Anel Calleja-Medina, 30, of the Springs, was arrested on charges of felony child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was transported to jail.
