Her lecture on “Saints & Sinners” will look at three of Tuscany’s most famous figures: St. Catherine of Siena, Michelangelo and Galileo.

Lawrence, a university instructor at several American and British universities, also works as a specialized private tour guide in Florence, Italy. Last year she spoke in Sonoma about female artists of the Italian Renaissance.

The lecture will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, at 3 p.m. in the Barrel Room of Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, 24724 Arnold Drive, Sonoma.

Advance general admission is $25 and includes a glass of wine, $20 for Jacuzzi Wine Club and Sonoma Sister Cities Association members. Tickets are $30 at the door (cash or check only).
