Three meetings this week - two with the City Council, one from the Planning Commission - highlight key issues in Sonoma's local governance.|

Sonoma City CouncilSpecial Meeting

The City Council will hear further the appeal to three Planning Commission approvals of house developments at Fourth St East and Brazil. Monday, April 9, at City Council Chambers, 177 First St. W, 5 p.m.

North Bay Water District

The North Bay Water District board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Schell-Vista Fire Station #1, 22950 Broadway in Sonoma. The agenda will be posted on the station's front window.

Sonoma City CouncilSpecial Meeting

The City Council will have a second special session this week, this one on the subject of cannabis regulation. Wednesday, April 11, at Andrews Hall, 276 E Napa St., 6:30 - 9 p.m.

Sonoma Planning Commission

A regular meeting of the Planning Commission to consider several applications: approval of the Zucchini Races for Aug. 3; a microbrewery at Mi Ranchita; a larger coffee cart and outdoor seating for Cafe Scooteria; continued hearing on the Sonoma Cheese Factory remodel; and first look at a duplex complex on Leveroni Rd. Thursday, April 12, at City Council Chambers, 177 First St. W., 6:30 p.m.
