Easter egg hunts around the Valley

Five ways to enjoy Easter Bunny fun this weekend and next|

Sonoma Marketplace: The Easter Bunny is coming early to Sonoma Marketplace. He'll be in the gazebo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, March 24.

Sonoma Valley Mother's Club Easter Egg Hunt: Starting at 11 a.m., on Sunday, March 25, enjoy a day of hunting for eggs, family activities, a bounce house and more, plus a visit with the Easter Bunny. Admission is $20 per family (two adults, two children), $5 for additional adult or child, $10 for photo, and free for babies 11 months and younger. Plaza egg hunt: The Soroptomist 42nd Annual Easter egg hunt is set for 10 a.m. sharp on Saturday, March 31. Parents are advised to arrive early so the children don't miss out. The Easter Bunny will hand out the prize baskets to the four lucky children who find a 'golden egg' (one for each of the four age groups).

Glen Ellen fun: Dunbar Elementary School is hosting the annual Easter egg hunt put on by the Glen Ellen Fire Association at 10 a.m. sharp on Saturday, March 31. Each participant can find five eggs and receive a bag of candy. Be on the lookout for the fire department's golden eggs to win a chocolate fire truck, courtesy of Wine Country Chocolates. Kids can get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

Hunt for the Hare at Safari West: Kids of all ages can enjoy brunch on Easter Sunday, April 1, followed by an egg hunt and a cross-country 'Hunt for the Hare' on the African savannah of Safari West. The 10 a.m. slot is already sold out, but there are still a few tickets left for the 2 p.m. start time. Cost is $75 for adults, $40 for kids 4-12. Easter Bunny comes to Larson Family Winery: On Easter Sunday, the Easter Bunny will relax after all that egg hiding for a chance to visit with families at Larson Family Winery in Sonoma. From noon to 2 p.m., kids will get to meet the Easter Bunny, and may even get a special treat. Grown-ups can also try some of the winery's wines, as well. larsonfamilywinery.com.
