Sonoma middle school honored by the USDA

The Altimira Middle School Food Service Program has been awarded the 2018 Western Region Champions of Breakfast Award by the USDA Department of Food and Nutrition Services. The school was honored for boosting meal quality with its Nutri-Bullet Smoothie Pilot program last year. The Western Regional Office of the USDA has also invited a representative from Sonoma Valley Unified School District to present best practices on a webinar.
