Sonoma dancers perform at Kings game

SVHS team participates in halftime show|

Sonoma Valley High School’s dance team attended a clinic on Saturday, Jan. 6, organized by the Varsity Spirit Organization. More than a dozen Sonoma dancers joined other schools to practice all day on the court at Golden 1 Center arena and then to perform that evening at the halftime of the Sacramento Kings game.

Each team wears their own uniform to represent their school. The Sonoma dancers are pictured in black.

This year, Sonoma Valley’s team consists of 23 girls and 1 boy. The team is coached by Meredith Regan.

The team’s upcoming performances will be at the halftime of Sonoma Valley High’s home basketball games, Convention and the Spring Dance Showcase, which takes place April 20 and 21.
