Sonoma group hosts documentary on apartheid

A free showing of the award-winning film, “Roadmap To Apartheid,” will be held at the Sonoma Valley Regional Library at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25. A discussion will follow the screening.

The feature-length film offers a detailed exploration of the parallels between South African and Israeli forms of apartheid

“Roadmap To Apartheid,” has won wide-spread acclaim. Archbishop Desmond Tutu called it, “powerful and compelling”. It has won numerous awards, among them Best Documentary at the Milan International Film Festival.

The film is sponsored by Sonomans for Justice and Peace in Palestine, a local group committed to helping people gain a broader, more inclusive perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to promote its peaceful resolution.
