Sonoma County Regional Parks has shared an amazing compilation video showing Sonoma Valley Regional Park in the hours before, during and after the Nuns fire that burned through Sonoma and Napa counties last month.

The images, captured by one of the organization's wildlife cameras and shared on Facebook last week, shows the park prior to the fire on Oct. 8, as the deadly blaze spread over the park on Oct. 9 and as wildlife tentatively returned to the scorched land.

The fire killed two people in Sonoma County, one person in Napa County and burned 54,382 acres.
