They say there’s no place like home. And we at the Index-Tribune are about to prove that maxim true – as this week marks our long-awaited return to our home office building located at 117 W. Napa St.

It’s been just over a year since the renovation of 117 W. Napa got underway, sending I-T staff off for temporary relocation, conveniently, in the building across the street.

But, at press time, local contractor Jenkins Construction was putting the finishing touches on the renovation and the I-T began loading up the moving vans on Friday, Aug. 18.

Once we’re back in, the Index-Tribune will once again share the building with Krave Pure Foods, Inc., and welcome new office neighbor Sonoma Brands LLC.

The project architect was Michael Ross, of Ross Drulis Cusenbery

Our offices will be closed Aug. 18 through 22, but we’re expecting to be open and back in business in our new offices at our old building, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 23.

As to contacting I-T staff during the move, phones will be temporarily out of service on Aug. 18; for general questions readers can call 933-2771 up until 4 p.m. that day; after that email kathi.schneider@arguscourier.com.
