Sonoman arrested on stolen bicycle

A Sonoma man is being held in the Sonoma County Jail on $46,000 bail after being arrested on charges of burglary after he was found to be in possession of a bike that was taken out of a garage.

On Thursday, May 4, a deputy responded to a residence in the 600 block of Barrachi Way for a report of a bike that was taken from the garage at that residence. While he was taking the report, the deputy received another call about a fight at the CVS Pharmacy, 201 W. Napa St.

As the deputy arrived, he caught an individual involved in the fight who was riding away from the scene on the stolen bike that the deputy had just taken the report on. The bike had already been repainted.

Deputies arrested Angelo Fischetti, 25, of Eldridge, on charges of felony burglary and vandalism, in connection with the bike theft, and on charges of battery for the fight. Fischetti was transported to county jail where he still sits as of May 18.
