Trashion Fashion Week is well underway and the newly expanded slate of activities runs through Sunday, March 26.

First up is the Barbie exhibit in Sonoma Community Center’s Gallery 212. More than 80 Barbies, wearing recycled clothing designed by professional and amateur designers of all ages, is on display all week.

Admission is $1. All dolls are for sale in a silent auction.

Up next is the first-ever Fashion Trashion dog catwalk show. Entries are still being accepted for this show for dogs, scheduled for 11 a.m. at Sonoma Community Center on Sunday, March 26. Audience admission to this show is free.

All well-behaved dogs and their owners are welcome to participate. The participation fee is $40. Doggie duds should be made of recycled materials.

All week, the community is invited to pick up a free map that shows the two dozen garments on display in businesses around Sonoma’s Plaza and Cornerstone where Fashion Trashion show entries can be viewed prior to the two runway shows on Sunday.

Tickets are still available to the show. The first is at 1 p.m. and the second at 5 p.m., both at Sonoma Valley Veteran’s Memorial Hall.
