Lear listens to library patrons

Library chief’s annual visit|

Sonoma County Library Director Brett Lear will host a morning of coffee, conversation and listening at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Sonoma Valley Regional Library.

“Coffee with the Director” is an opportunity for members of the public to have direct interaction with the principal administrator of the Sonoma County Library System.

Residents of Sonoma Valley are invited to stop by to meet and chat with Lear. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, discuss issues, or simply meet the director.

“This is the third round of coffee chat sessions and I expect there will be a great turn out of people who really care about the library,” said Lear, “my coffee chat at the Sonoma Valley Library last time was fun and educational as I had a chance to hear what folks think about the library and answer questions, as well.”

The event is free. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St., Sonoma. For more information, call Jaylene Demapan at 545-0831, ext. 1553 or jdemapan@sonoma.lib.ca.us.
