Sonoma Valley High School student Anna Stava’s senior project centers on the annual Prestwood Elementary School Talent Show, to be held this year on March 10 at Altimira Middle School. She is organizing the schedule, overseeing the rehearsals, and producing the marketing materials and program for the event.

“We just started rehearsing for the show last Wednesday and all of the students brought amazing talent to the stage,” said Stava. “All of the students, parents and staff are very excited for the actual show in March.”

Stava’s senior-project research paper examines how technology has disrupted and affected the arts in America. Stava plans to pursue a career in graphic design, and she is working closely with her senior project mentor, local graphic designer Lisa Carlsson.

Stava took Andy Mitchell’s photography electives courses all four years at SVHS, and she looks forward to studying graphic design in college. She is waiting to hear back from colleges.

“The timing of all the senior project deadlines is really challenging as it conflicts with college applications, but I am really enjoying the process,” said Stava.
