Each year more than 500 families, staff, alumni and community supporters gather for a festive dinner party to support the clubs, electives and sports at Sonoma Valley High School (SVHS).

The SVHS Booster Club is gearing up for its biggest annual fundraiser – its 2020 Super Bowl Eve Crab Feed, Dance and Auction on Saturday, Feb. 1 in the Sonoma Valley Veterans Memorial Building, 126 First St. W.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with a no-host cocktail hour and a silent auction, followed by a dinner of fresh cracked Dungeness crab with Caesar salad, dessert and coffee, a small live auction and dancing from 8:30 to 11 p.m. to DJ Strawberry Fields. There will be a “Dragon Signature Cocktail” available.

According to the auction team, this year’s lots include “Harry Potter” play tickets in San Francisco, Warriors tickets at the Chase Center, sky diving, and more.

Ed Vaughan will serve as the auctioneer.

All proceeds help Boosters support sports, clubs and extra-curricular activities for more than 80 percent of SVHS students.

Crab feed tickets are $85, VIP tickets are $100 (which includes wine, dessert and seating). Dance-only tickets will be sold for $15 at the door after 8 p.m. Buy tickets online at SVHScrabfeed.org.
