Sonoma weather and roads update

With the winds howling and the rains beating, Sonoma's battening down the hatches for one of its bigger systems in more than a year.

The highways 121 and 12 crossing in Schellville has been reportedly closed; according to the county road-conditions website -- road conditions.sonoma-county.org -- no other thoroughfares in Sonoma are currently closed.

One longtime local reports, "Sonoma Creek is as high as I've seen it since the 2005 flood."
