Sonoma Planning Commission postpones Thursday hotel meeting

Hotel project will be taken up at the Dec. 8 meeting|

The special meeting of the Sonoma Planning Commission scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 3, that was set to look at the final EIR and use permit for the West Napa Street hotel proposal has been pushed back to Dec. 8.

City Planning Director David Goodison said in order to allow a full opportunity for informed review and comment on the project, the applicants have agreed to postpone the meeting.

The Dec. 8 date is the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting, but the hotel proposal will be the only item on the agenda.

'While the short notice on the cancellation of the Nov. 3 meeting is unfortunate, we feel it is necessary to allow everyone involved sufficient time to make informed comments and decisions,' Goodison said.
