Free commerical culinary class in Sonoma

All graduates will finish with job certification|

A free career and technical education course that provides job certification is opening on Friday, June 10 for all Sonoma Valley residents, ages 18 and up. Sonoma Teen Services is offering the new, free culinary course from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, from June 10 to July 15. Students taking the course will graduate with the skills needed to obtain employment in a commercial commercial kitchen.

Upon successful completion, students earn a California Food Handler’s certificate, a ServSafe Manager Certificate and a Knife Skills certificate.
