Sonoma County Library director Brett Lear is hosting a morning of coffee, conversation and listening at the Sonoma Valley Regional Library at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10. This “Coffee with the Director” is an opportunity for members of the public to have direct interaction with the principal administrator of the Sonoma County Library System.

Residents of Sonoma Valley are invited to stop by to meet and converse with Lear. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, discuss issues, or simply meet Lear. “This is the second round of coffee chat sessions and I expect there will be a great turn out of people who really care about the library, just like the first conversation last summer,” said Lear. “My coffee chat at the Sonoma Valley last time was fun and educational as I had a chance to hear what folks think about the library and answer questions, as well.”

The event is free and open to all. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St, Sonoma. For more information, call Rebecca Forth at 545-0831, ext. 1553 or email rforth@sonoma.lib.ca.us.
