The board of Sweetwater Spectrum has announced the appointment of Carol Patterson as interim executive director and head of the committee that will search for a new permanent executive director for the non-profit organization.

According to board chair Carolyn Klebanoff, Patterson brings more than 30 years of proven abilities, across both the private and public sectors, in project management, leadership, and internal and external client relationship development. Her experience includes work with nonprofit boards of directors, funders, donors and executive team. Patterson’s resume includes interim leadership stints with the Marin AIDS Project, Marin History Museum, the Center for Adaptive Learning and the Ritter Center. She has a BA from San Jose State, an MBA in finance from UC Berkeley and a DrPH in health policy and administration from Berkeley.

A Sonoma resident, Patterson begins her new post this week, and will ensure a smooth transition while the organization searches for a permanent executive director.
