Whom ever thinks ceramics aren’t romantic has never seen the “pottery wheel” scene in “Ghost.”

With that in mind, the Sonoma Community Center is offering a new clay-infused “Date Night” event three evenings in October. Kala Stein, the Community Center’s new director of ceramics, is opening up the pottery studio on three nights for a new program. No experience needed but preregistration is required. Beer, wine, snacks and clay provided. Each Date Night runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and costs $35 per person.

The dates are Friday, Oct. 16, Thursday, Oct. 29, Friday, Nov. 6.
