The Sonoma Community Center ?celebrated the centenary of their historic building on Saturday, and between 80 and 90 entries showed up to parade around Sonoma Plaza to commemorate the occasion. The fact that it was also the Fourth of July, traditionally the biggest parade day in Sonoma, added to the luster of the event.

Old restored cars and trucks, marching parents and pets, musicians and unicyclists, and plenty of American flags graced the parade route for its three-long-block course.

Of the 90 entries, judges chose first, second and third place in six categories, including an overall grand prize. The winners were announced after the parade concluded.
