The opportunity to become a superhero was an attractive allure to about 80 kids last Wednesday as the Sonoma Valley Regional Library hosted a Superhero Training Camp. Potential superheroes could crash through a brick wall, hoist a 1,000-ton barbell and save a kitten from a burning house. And best of all, the kids got to design a superhero mask.
