Pomo dancers at Children’s Day

Pomo Nation dancers will be performing Saturday, May 2, during the Children’s Day at the Mission. Children’s Day runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.|

Pomo Nation dancers will be performing Saturday, May 2, during the Children’s Day at the Mission.

Children’s Day runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Pomo dancers will be performing at noon.

There’s a whole range of activities for youngsters including learning to weave a basket, hand-dipping a candle, roping a steer, branding leather and making a corn-husk doll.

The event is free for children 17 and under while there’s a $3 charge for adults.

The Mission San Francisco Solano is located at 114 E. Spain St., Sonoma.
