Early morning wreck

A car plowing through a short wall and ended in a front yard in the 200 block of Petaluma Avenue Tuesday morning. According to the Napa CHP office, the 41-year-old female driver was seen veering from the right-hand shoulder across the westbound lane and into the fence and front yard. The accident caused major damage to the auto. The driver was taken to Sonoma Valley Hospital as a precautionary measure. The CHP said the incident is still under investigation.
