More than 30 volunteers were on hand to spruce up Sonoma Valley High School Saturday morning. Volunteers weeded, planted and spread 80 yards of mulch that was in the school’s bus turnaround. In addition to the volunteers, Waldron Landscaping sent two workers to the project, and Soils Plus and the Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley both made major contributions to the project. The effort was coordinated with the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. Organizers are hoping to make this a semi-annual event.
