Local-Fest slated for March 5

The community is invited to get to know some of its newest businesses at Sonoma Valley Local-Fest, a celebration and showcase set for Wednesday, March 5, at Ramekins.

Local-Fest is being hosted by the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce, with sponsorship from the City of Sonoma through its Economic Vitality Partnership. Ramekins and Wine Country Party and Events are also sponsors of the event.

More than 30 of the Valley’s newest businesses will be on hand to provide information, samples, tastes, and demonstrations.

“We’ve got a really wonderful mix of new local businesses that will be showcasing their products and services to the community,” said Patricia Shults, executive director of the Chamber. The event will also include welcomes from 1st District Supervisor Susan Gorin and Mayor David Cook, as well as local musical guests.

Local-Fest is set for 5 to 7:30 p.m. with free admission to the public. Ramekins event center is located at 450 W. Spain St.
