90, of Glen Ellen, CA, peacefully passed away Sunday evening, December 21, 2014, in her bed at home. Mary was living with and being cared for by her sister, Marge Everidge and friend Archie Horton, moving to be with them in July of 2012 from Lake Worth, FL, her home for over 64 years.

Mary was born on February 1, 1924 in Buffalo, New York. She was the second of ten children and will be dearly missed by her two remaining sisters, Barbara Delhotal of San Diego, CA and Marge Everidge of Glen Ellen, CA.

Mary was the loving mother of two boys, Joseph H. Maser of Lynn, MA and Ralph and his wife Carol Steimel Maser of Stilwell, KS. Mary has two grandchildren, Shannon and Mac, both currently attending the University of Iowa. They will all miss her love and encouragement.

Mary was one of the first Women Marines when she enlisted in February 1944. She was assigned as a bus and jeep driver in Camp Lejeune, NC where she earned the rank of Corporal. She will always be remembered as a loving, strong and dedicated friend with a tremendous work ethic. She worked in the Lake Worth High School Cafeteria until November of 2011.

As requested, her body was donated to science.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents (Philip and Lillian), husband (Rudy) of 56 years, one sister (Bonnie Fiori) and six brothers (Philip, Harry, Edwin, Raymond, George and James).
