Feeding the needy

Miguel Santiago hoists a box of food into a vehicle Saturday at the annual FISH holiday food basket program. FISH distributed 360 food boxes at the giveaway that was held at Hanna Boys Center. The food for the baskets came from numerous local organizations including Sonoma Valley Public Schools that collect donations in food barrels, Sonoma Valley Cub and Boy Scouts and Sonoma Raceway get the program launched every year by collecting donations. This year, 75 volunteers helped somewhere along the way, whether it was moving food, sorting food or helping to distribute it.
