The City of Sonoma Cultural and Fine Arts Commission’s 2015 Student Creative Arts Award Program is now open for entries. 

This award program is open to Sonoma Valley residents between the age of 16 and 21 who are studying visual, literary or performing arts. 

Applicants must submit a completed application form; a 200-word to 500-word statement explaining the role that art has played in their life and what their plans are for continuing their artistic training; and a portfolio of at least five works. 

All applicants will be asked to participate in an interview by Commission members.

The application form may be downloaded from the city’s website, sonomacity.org or by contacting the City Clerk. The deadline to submit an entry is Jan. 13. For information, contact the City Clerk at 933-2216.
