Honoring departed soldiers at the holiday season|

Saturday was the annual Wreaths Across America where Christmas wreaths are placed on the graves of veterans. About 100 people turned out at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Park on a fog-shrouded morning. Capt. Mike Morrison, with the Civil Air Patrol, left, and Major Joe Fernandes, USAF, ret., place one of the wreaths on a stand to commemorate the Air Force.
