New lights to ‘star’ on the Sonoma Plaza this season

Work crews last week hung a variety of holiday lights throughout the Sonoma Plaza, with large stars in the northwest quadrant, and other festive styles draped from the trees in the other corners of the 8-acre park. Sonoma residents will get to see how the new seasonal look comes off on Nov. 16 at the annual Lighting of the Sonoma Plaza, when city officials will flip the switch on holiday fun – live music and food trucks will round out Sonoma’s official winter kick-off.
