Needy children receive free dental care

One-hundred-twenty needy children received free dental care last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday courtesy of Christina’s Smile Children’s Dental Clinic. The Christina’s Smile trailer was parked at Altimira Middle School for those three days as it has every October for a number of years.

The clinic is in cooperation with the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. Since it started in 1990, the clinic had treated about 47,000 children and provided more than $21 million worth of dental care. Approximately $85,000 to $95,000 in dental care is given during each three-day clinic.
