Editor, Index-Tribune:

I’d like to let Index-Tribune readers know that The Barking Dog and “3 on a Match” are sponsoring a sumptuous, musical evening to help FISH replace its older donated refrigerators and freezers with Energy Star appliances.

Upon completing its solar panels, FISH has determined that it is possible to reroute additional funds into its program by saving even more on its utility bill. The entire community is invited to this first-ever event.

The event will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17, between 5 and 7 p.m.

For a $20 ticket, you will receive a choice of three BBQ sandwiches: the Retriever – sliced chicken breast, BBQ sauce, jack cheese, red onion, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, on a ciabatta roll; the Dingo – pulled pork topped with Barking Dog BBQ sauce and creamy coleslaw on a soft roll; and the Hound – tri-tip topped with BBQ sauce and coleslaw on a soft roll. The ticket price includes a sandwich of your choice and hot or iced coffee and tea.

Music by “3 on a Match” – Smokin’ Joe Herrschaft and Paul Christopulos – will be the perfect complement for a delightful summer evening.

Fine music, fine food and a very good cause come together – don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a summer evening in beautiful downtown Boyes Hot Springs.
