Museum fetes volunteers

The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art loves its volunteers – and to prove it, the museum is hosting a “Volunteer Appreciation Party” next week with the intention of celebrating current volunteers while inviting new ones to join.

The event, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m., is free and features wine, appetizers and music by Dawn Angelosante.

Participants also will get a look at the current exhibit, “Site & Senses,” featuring the architectural work of Aidlin Darling Design.
