SONOMA RACEWAY’S BIG O Tires 2014 major event season finale is the Classic Sports Racing Group’s Charity Challenge – benefiting the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, the charitable arm of the raceway – set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4 and 5, on the Valley’s 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course. FRANCIS Solano’s CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) basketball program for third- through eighth-grade boys’ and girls’ teams will hold mandatory evaluation and tryout day for registered players from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, in the Presentation School gym.
