Measure B public forum

A public forum on Measure B, the Hotel Limitation initiative, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in Burlingame Hall at the First Congregational Church, 252 W. Spain St.

Sponsored by the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce, the forum will be moderated by longtime civic volunteer, Dick Fogg, who heads the finance committee of the Sonoma Valley Health Care District board.

The forum format is structured to provide equal time for up to two representatives from the pro-initiative Preserving Sonoma Committee and two from the anti-initiative Protect Sonoma Committee. Representatives for each side will be given time to present their positions and respond to questions.

Supporters for either side are being encouraged to bring printed campaign material for public distribution and space will be provided for display.

The forum is scheduled to run until 8:30 p.m.
