Marjorie Louise “Marge” Colbert, 90, passed away peacefully in Sonoma, surrounded by her loving family, on Jan. 7, 2014. She was born on Oct. 4, 1923 in Richmond to Earl and Edith Brown. She married Clovis W. Colbert in 1946 and they lived in Sonoma until 1978 when they retired to Siloam Springs, Alaska. Clovis passed away in 2005 and Marge returned to Sonoma in 2010.
Marge is predeceased by her son, David (1969), and her husband, Clovis (2005).
She is survived by her loving granddaughter, Bridget Marie Colbert.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Mountain Cemetery, 90 First St. W., Sonoma. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Hospice By The Bay, 190 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476.
